The brief
Using illustration create striking new jacket
covers for a selection of Dyan Sheldon's
teenage novels.

Target audience
The selected Dyan Sheldon titles appeal to
a 10-14 year old age group, mainly (but not
exclusively) girls. The stories are witty and
down-to-earth, dealing with real-life issues
in an honest, heartfelt and humorous way.

Evaluation ycn collabrative brief O2.

1. What skills have you developed through this module and how effectively do you think you have applied them?
This skills i feel i have learn are crafting skills, working with a range of compostions and 3D elements, i have really ejoyed this way of working and will continue this pratice. Working with Phil, he has tought me some new photoshop skills i didnt know before which im grateful for, this has opened up more possiblities within my designs.

2. What approaches to generating work and solutions to problems have you developed and how have they helped?
Creating initial ideas and idea generation using sketchbooks and cotinuously looking at visual research really helped the project flow and create possibilities for new creative ideas and even create an alternative resolution.

3. What strengths can you identify in your work and how have/will you capitalise on these?
initial ideas, idea generation, crafting skills working with 3D typography.

4. What weaknesses can you identify in your work and how could you exploit these more fully?
Lack of documented artists, designers we had looked at, although posts are on the blog maybe could have posted more of who we were inspired by.
