O2 Collab - Photoshop mock up in context

Now that a quick mock up is made we can start applying it in context to get more of a feel of how commercial the resolution can be and just how far it could be taken

O2 Collab - Photoshop mock up

After Phil added colour to the type and created the effect of it sitting high above in the clouds we used the photoshop building Phil had previously created to create a quick mock up to get more of an insight to what the final resolution could look like.

O2 Collab - Photography

Now that the studio was set up we snapped as many photographs as we could changing the position of the type as well as changing the lighting to see what was working.

O2 Collab - Make your studio!

Due to the photography studio being fully booked, me and Phil had to create our own studio, stacking up a few tables and using an A1 sheet of paper we created a suitable space to photograph our 3D type.

O2 Collab - Final 3D type

We did it!! It took a solid day and a half to create all 19 letters! the next stage is to photograph the type in the studio.

O2 Collab - Typography Tests

After looking at some visuals of 3D typography Phil began to make the letter 'W' in 3D using paper. We Cteated the words "were better", then using pieces of string hung them from Phils ceiling. We also experimented with card, stencil and string to see what results we could get from it.
